Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo Strengthens Synergy with the Ministry of Tourism
Jakarta, 15 January 2026 – The Board of Directors of the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo (BWB Expo) held an official audience with the Vice Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, Ni Luh Puspa, on 15 January 2026. The meeting was also attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, including representatives from the Deputy for Marketing, Ni Made Ayu Marthini, and the Assistant for Tourism Products and Event Organization, Fransiskus Handoko. This audience marked a strategic step in strengthening synergy between event organizers and the government in supporting the development of Indonesia’s wellness and beauty industry.
During the meeting, the Board of Directors of the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo presented a comprehensive overview of the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo 2026, including its vision, event concept, and the strategic role of the expo as a platform that brings together industry players, professionals, investors, and institutions within the wellness and beauty ecosystem. Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo 2026 is scheduled to take place on 4–6 June 2026 at the Bali Beach Convention Center, The Sanur Bali, under the theme “Thrive in Bali: Where Wellness Inspires the World.” The event will feature a range of flagship programs, including the main exhibition, a marketplace and knowledge hub, business matching sessions, as well as interactive activities with attractive prizes for visitors.
The audience also discussed the significant potential of the wellness and beauty industry as a key driver of sustainable tourism growth and the national economy, particularly in Bali, which is internationally recognized as a world-class wellness destination. On this occasion, BWB Expo reaffirmed its commitment to fostering cross-sector collaboration, encouraging industry innovation, and promoting the implementation of sustainable business practices in line with national tourism policy directions.
The Vice Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, Ni Luh Puspa, welcomed the initiative of the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo and expressed appreciation for the efforts undertaken to strengthen Indonesia’s position as an international wellness and beauty destination. During the meeting, she also conveyed the Ministry of Tourism’s commitment to supporting the participation of potential buyers at both national and international levels, as well as encouraging synergy between the organization of BWB Expo and various government programs.
The organization of Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo 2026 is designed to align with Law Number 18 of 2025 on Tourism and to support the development of the Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ) as an international-standard hub for healthcare, wellness, and tourism services. In this context, BWB Expo is expected to serve as a strategic platform that connects industry stakeholders, investors, and government institutions within a globally competitive collaborative ecosystem.
In line with this commitment, the Ministry of Tourism also expressed its support for promoting Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo 2026 through various digital platforms to enhance brand awareness and event visibility at both national and international levels.
