Bali, June 17, 2025 — In preparation for the upcoming Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo (BWB Expo) 2025, scheduled to take place from June 27 to 29, the organizing team held a virtual audience with the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpar) on Tuesday (June 17). The meeting aimed to strengthen synergy between the organizers and the central government, while also securing strategic support for the success of this international-scale event.
The audience was led by Mr. Vinsensius Jemadu, Deputy for Events Management Development at the Ministry of Tourism, along with other relevant officials. Representing the organizing team were Dr. Diah Permana Tirtawati, MBA, Co-Founder and Director of BWB Expo 2025, and Feri Agustian Soleh, Co-Founder and Project Director of BWB Expo 2025.
During the session, the BWB Expo team delivered a comprehensive presentation on the event’s concept and planned activities. Carrying the theme “Grow-well in Bali: Where Wellness Becomes Beauty,” BWB Expo 2025 aims to serve as a collaborative platform for players in the wellness and beauty industries, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, cross-sectoral participation, and active engagement from Bali’s regencies and municipalities.
In addition to featuring domestic industry stakeholders, BWB Expo 2025 will also welcome international partners from South Korea, China, and Japan as part of an effort to expand global networks and strengthen Bali’s position as a leading hub for the wellness and beauty industry in the Asia region.
The Ministry responded positively to the initiative and expressed its full support. In his statement, Deputy Vinsensius emphasized that events like BWB Expo align with the Ministry’s policy of promoting sustainability-based events, including the adoption of green exhibition and green conference concepts that have become global standards.
As a form of tangible support, the Ministry has also scheduled the attendance of the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia to officially open the event, accompanied by a delegation of deputy ministers, including the Deputy for Events.
With the support of the central government, cross-sector collaboration, and active participation from both local and international stakeholders, BWB Expo 2025 is expected to become a catalyst for the growth of the national wellness and beauty industry, increase tourist visits, and generate broad and sustainable socio-economic impacts for the people of Bali and Indonesia as a whole.
