Denpasar, 29 June 2025 — After three impactful days, the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo (BWB Expo) 2025 officially concluded on Sunday, 29 June 2025. Held at the Bali Beach Convention Center in Sanur, the event marked a significant success in terms of execution, participant enthusiasm, and its impact on the tourism and wellness industries in Bali and Indonesia.
A Three-Day Event Full of Meaning
Running from 27 to 29 June, this inaugural edition of BWB Expo served as a vital milestone in Bali's journey toward becoming a global hub for wellness and beauty tourism. Thousands of international visitors attended, including wellness enthusiasts, beauty practitioners, tourism players, wellness entrepreneurs, academics, the general public, and representatives from both local and national governments.
More than just an exhibition, BWB Expo 2025 became a collaborative space uniting stakeholders across the wellness value chain. This event also marked the beginning of a grand vision to establish BWB Expo as an annual event, with plans already underway for a larger and more inclusive edition in June 2026.
International Participation Across Diverse Industries
A total of 107 companies and entrepreneurs participated as exhibitors, filling 80 booths that represented the broad spectrum of the wellness and beauty industries. These included body care products, aesthetic technologies, spa and yoga services, fashion, and traditional medicine. In addition to local participants from Bali, Jakarta, East Java, Central Java, and North Sulawesi, the presence of international exhibitors from Japan, South Korea, and China elevated the expo's global significance.

Talk Shows, Workshops, and Insightful Discussions
One of the main highlights of BWB Expo 2025 was the series of talk shows, workshops, and panel discussions covering topics such as holistic health, aesthetic innovations, sustainability, and wellness investment opportunities. The event featured 68 speakers—28 international and 40 from Indonesia—who made valuable contributions to knowledge sharing and education for attendees from various backgrounds.
These sessions not only provided information but also inspired a paradigm shift toward embracing a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, which is now a global necessity rather than a passing trend.

The expo was graced by key figures, including the Vice Minister of Tourism of Indonesia, Mrs. Ni Luh Puspa; Deputy for Event Management, Mr. Vinsensius Jemadu; and Head of Bali Provincial Tourism Office, Mr. Wayan Sumarajaya. Their presence underscored Bali's standing as a premier destination for wellness and beauty on the global stage.
We extend our deepest appreciation to the industry associations that collaborated with us, including the Bali Chamber of Commerce (KADIN Bali), Bali Tourism Board, Bali Spa and Wellness Association, Bali Medical Tourism Association, and Bali Maha Usadhi. Their involvement ensured that the expo succeeded not just as an event, but as a meaningful step toward building a sustainable wellness ecosystem.
An Iconic Venue and Strategic Momentum
BWB Expo 2025 made history as the first international MICE event held in the Sanur Special Economic Zone (SEZ), specifically at the Bali Beach Convention Center, a flagship facility of The Meru Sanur. This venue was recently inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, on 25 June 2025.
Choosing this location not only provided world-class facilities but also reflected the government's strong commitment to positioning Sanur SEZ as Indonesia's integrated center for health and wellness services, ready to compete globally.
Looking Ahead to BWB Expo 2026
The success of BWB Expo 2025 lays a solid foundation for next year's event.
