Gede Putra Witsen

Gede Putra Witsen is a social entrepreneur and consultant whose mission is to create holistic circular businesses that preserve and sustain nature and culture by creating economic value in traditional local know-how. His passion for sustainability and holistic business practices began at a young age, starting his career at 14 as a Workshop Facilitator in his family's social business, Mepantigan Bali.

Currently, he is the Director of the D.E.S.A Project at Garden of Life, a project that supports rural producers and empowers youth to become holistic leaders through experiential learning programs. He also serves as the Export & Development Director for Naturprodukt, a Czech-based producer of natural dietary supplements and cosmetics, where he is opening opportunities for business expansion.

As a young leader, Gede has held significant roles, including being the youngest member of the Green School Governance Council. He has also represented youth on the world stage as a delegation member for the OECD Education Framework 2030 conference in Paris and for the UNFCCC Conference of Parties 23 in Bonn, Germany, where he used performing arts to spread awareness on environmental issues.

His work is deeply rooted in arts and culture, stemming from a decade of experience with Mepantigan Bali, which he helped build into a key icon for eco and cultural tourism. This passion extended to his role as President of the IE University Arts Society in Spain, where he led the restructuring of the organization to promote collaboration and sustainability among various art clubs.
