Nahla Shihab, MD, currently serves as the Deputy General Manager of Ngoerah Sun Wellness & Aesthetic Center and as an Expert Staff for the President Director of RSUP Prof. Ngoerah. She is a highly accomplished physician with board certifications from both the Indonesian College of Dermatology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Shihab earned her Doctor of Medicine and completed her Residency in Dermatology and Venereology, both with cum laude honors, from the University of Indonesia. She then pursued extensive training in the United States, including a clinical dermatology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, followed by residencies in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai Bronx Program and Ascension Saint Agnes Healthcare in Baltimore.
Her academic excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including achieving the highest score on the National Board Examination in Dermatovenereology in Indonesia and winning first place at The Skin of Color Society's scientific program in the USA. She is also a published author, having written a book on the scientific facts of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
Throughout her career, Dr. Shihab has shown a strong commitment to public health and community service. She has led and volunteered for numerous public health initiatives in underserved areas and launched a viral media campaign on Covid-19 awareness in Indonesia that garnered more than 14 million views across online platforms and national television.
