Denpasar, 12 June 2025 - The organizing committee of the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo 2025 held an official audience with the Governor of Bali, Dr. Ir. I Wayan Koster, M.M., at the Governor's Office, Jaya Sabha, Denpasar. The meeting aimed to present the detailed plans for the upcoming expo—scheduled to take place from 27 to 29 June 2025 at the Bali Beach Convention Center, located within “The Sanur” Health Special Economic Zone—and to establish strategic collaboration with the Provincial Government of Bali.
Held in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere, the discussion emphasized that the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo is envisioned as a collaborative platform for industry professionals in wellness, beauty, and healthy living—both from Indonesia and abroad. More than just an exhibition, the event seeks to highlight Bali's profound cultural values as the foundation for a holistic approach to health and beauty. A central theme is the preservation and promotion of Usada Bali, a traditional healing system that forms an integral part of Bali's rich heritage in traditional medicine.
This initiative is aligned with the spirit of Bali Governor Regulation No. 55 of 2019 on Traditional Health Services, which underscores the importance of integrating local wisdom with modern healthcare practices. The expo is expected to reflect this synergy and serve as a strategic platform for introducing Bali's cultural heritage to the global stage.
Governor Dr. Ir. I Wayan Koster, M.M. expressed his full appreciation and support for the event. He recognized the expo as part of a broader effort to strengthen Bali's position as a premier destination for wellness tourism, grounded in cultural and spiritual values. The Governor also confirmed his intention to personally attend the closing ceremony, which will be held on Sunday, 29 June 2025.
Also present during the audience were Dr. Drs. I Wayan Sumarajaya, M.Si., Head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office, Dr. Ketut Jaman, S.S., M.Si., Managing Director of PT Melali MICE and event organizer, Dr. Diah Permana Tirtawati, MBA, Co-Founder and Director of the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo 2025.
With strong support from the Provincial Government, the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo 2025 is expected to mark a significant milestone in advancing a culturally rooted wellness industry, further reinforcing Bali's position as a global center for spirituality and healing.
